The mission of  Abundant Life Ministries Youth Activity Center is to bring hope to the youth of our community one child at a time through God-centered activities and services in a safe, structured, nurturing environment that increases personal developmental assets.

Youth Activity Center
Open Monday - Friday year round to provide tutoring, arts and youth activity programming for children ages 9-15. The Youth Activity Center provides a safe structured environment for youth, promotes leadership skills, community service and self respect.

Homework Club
Provides weekly one-on-one tutoring support for students in an emotionally safe environment. We are working to increase GPA of students and equip them with better learning strategies, skills and study habits.

Fun Club
Provides age appropriate activities such as a computer lab with Internet access, organized board games, video games and crafts, as well as snacks and drinks, supervised by caring adults.

Summer Camp
Our Community Center youth have an opportunity to attend a week camp session, all expenses paid. They will experience a new environment where they will have fun outdoors, learn leadership skills, test their potential and build positive relationships, that will have lasting impact on their lives. They will enjoy swimming, hiking, campfires, a skate-board part, crafts, and many other activities, in a Christian environment.

Leadership Training
The Community Center Leadership Training Program is designed to give our youth valuable lessons and practical skills that build character and integrity for leadership. We accomplish this by mentoring out youth into a "team leader role" where they can exercise their leadership skills through daily Community Center activities, filed trips and community service projects.

Community Service Projects
Our Youth learn the importance of serving and caring for their community through neighborhood projects, such as our mobile food pantry, block party clean-ups, lawn care for senior citizens and other service opportunities.

Weekend Camp
Provides a summer camp experience in a 3-day weekend. Our youth enjoy swimming, games, a barbecue cookout, crafts, youth chores and youth speakers that are positive role-models. This is a great first-step experience for those who have never attended a traditional summer camp.
